Care and Use

The silicone heads are removable for easy cleaning. Simply place the silicone head in the dishwasher or wash in warm, soapy water. Due to the wooden handle, we would recommend that this part of the product be washed by hand.

Wave Goodbye to Those Wooden Spoons - this is the future!
This is a really useful size of 'spatula' from 'Le Creuset'.

Not only is it far more hygienic than a wooden spoon, as it can withstand temperatures up to 800 degrees F/425 degrees C, but far more versatile, too.
The removable, flexible head is dishwasher safe, although it is seldom necessary as it washes up a treat in hot, soapy water in the kitchen sink.
It will not scratch or damage any cookware surface.

Presented in a sealed pack it makes an excellent gift for the chef who already has everything!

Too small
I purchased this spatula after seeing all the celebrity chefs using the le creuset spoons, and being a keen baker and cook decided to try them out instead of using wooden spoons. The spatula separated from the handle after a couple of weeks, I have managed to jam it back on, but cannot see it lasting for too long. If you would like to purchase a Le Creuset spoon/spatula I would recommend the larger spoons as there is not enough strength in this one for anything, it is far too flexible with little to no strength.

all of these little silicone spatulas are fantastic. Much easier to use than a wooden spoon, can be used as a scraper for cake mix or hot cheese sauce. I have 4 different ones so far (and they last really well too). Will likely add to the collection from time to time. Get a couple for your student son or daughter for uni.
