No matter which shape, size or colour you prefer, the recipe has always stayed the same since 1925. Two sand moulds are fastened together with a small gap between them. Then molten iron from a large cauldron (a 'Creuset') is poured between them. Once the shape is cast, and iron is cooled, each dish is finished by hand, enamelled and ready for you to experiment with.
