Product Description

This traditional-looking frosted glass container houses a solar cell, battery and LED lights. The idea is to leave the Moon Jar near a window or under some decent artificial light so that it can collect energy throughout the day. Then when darkness falls it provides a warm, ambient glow.

Moon Jar5
I Bought this for my Gran and she loves it. She lives in a cold area where the sun always seems to be behind a cloud but she has no trouble re-charging it (she just puts it on the windowsill outside)
Its lets out a lovely glow.
I would certainly recommend this product, it makes a nice gift.

Moon Jar4
Bought this and the Sun Jar to sit in the conservatory on those lazy sunny afternoons, and that is exactly what you need to charge it properly. Bright days are not good enough so I was a little disappointed when I bought this in the winter and the charge didn't last long. However, now we have some decent sun the jars charge and glow with a dreamlike presence, and is well worth the money. They look so magical glowing in the corner, as if some fairy had been caught ib the jar.

rusty moon1
My Moon Jar arrived on Thursday morning. It was a sunny day so I stood it outside til dark. It glowed beautifully from the patio. The next morning we woke to find that it had rained in the night and the jar was wet. However as it had been advertised under ' outdoor lighting', we had no worries.
The next day,Saturday, the chrome clip was showing signs of rust at every joint!!So it is not an outdoor light- it has to be kept indoors! On our south facing indoor windowsill it now only glows pitifully....
so we are in the process of trying to claim a refund. Beware!
