The best walking boot
I have broad feet:( I walk my dog for miles every day and always buy Meindl Boots. They are very comfortable and they do not need breaking-in because they mould to the shape of your foot. The sizing is very 'true'and I have never had wet feet while walking. I tend to buy one pair a year and the family joke is that I have to have them surgically removed as I must sleep in them.I am sure that if I cared for them properly I would have years of use from them.

These are not wide boots
Fabulous sturdy boots, but beware, not suitable for wide feet. I was so disappointed when these arrived having read reviews about suitability for wide feet, but alas not. The good news was that the buyer couldn't have been more solicitous in taking them back, and even giving helpful suggestions about who does make widest boots (ladies - Italian is what you need).
