Smart Versatile Boots
I was really pleased with these boots and pleasantly surprised how good a representation in colour and design that the pictures on Amazon site were. Great fit and well made shoe. I've had a number of positive comments about them already and I've only worn them twice!

Beware of size problem
These are advertised as UK sizes, but what gets delivered are the corresponding US sizes (i.e., 11 US not 11 UK), which are smaller. These are slim-fitting shoes anyway, so it was impossible for me to get them on, let alone be comfortable in them. They had to go back for a refund, and Amazon need to correct their website to advertise US sizes if that is what they are going to sell.

Zip to Ecstasy
Being that I'm over 6'3", I've always been terrified that my trousers are half-mast.
A fear borne out by a school photograph; with your faithful droogie (a foot taller than every-one else!), looking well cool of course, except for - you guessed it - a good four inches of muddy sock and ankle, confidence-destroyingly on view.
My whole aura for nothing, all my myth and incandescence shot to pieces by the flash of a deviously observant camera lens.
It had a lasting effect.

From that day on, I've worn boots. A simple enough solution to an awkward problem. Boots cover up a multitude of sins, provide support for the ankle - and a well cut and defined trouser will inevitably hang better on a boot than a shoe.
Superbly, boots are now very fashionable. Wonderful selections are available on this very site and no doubt, at your local boot-ique(!) in a bewildering display of colours and styles.

I chose these Rockport gems because...well look at them! Look at the product picture. Sophisticated, magnificent macho-ness in two bewitching colours...
