Cat hairs gone!!!
Hetty arrived yesterday after my 5 year old Dyson broke down for the third time, this time just outside of the warranty period. I looked on various websites for advice on which machine to buy next I wanted a bagless machine although on reading the reviews here on Amazon for the Henry model (Same spec as Hetty but just a different colour) I decided that a Hetty was the answer being a pink person!! You dont even have to use a bag with the machine although I have managed to find a firm who sell a cotton re-useable version of the bag which unzips so you can empty it into the bin outside.

I ordered the Hetty extra which comes with the Ariobrush as an extra as I have 2 cats and was worried that it may not pick up all of the hairs. In addition to this you still get the standard brush. I need not have worried though as the standard brush was brilliant. I went round the house in half of my usual time and it picked up the cat hairs with ease. I needed to use the Ariobrush in couple of areas mainly where the cats sleep at night. The machine is so powerful that you can see the carpet being lifted although dont worry as it has a high and a low speed so you can use the low speed aroung the edges.

The flex is so long I was able to clean the whole house from one plug and Hetty is so light and easy to carry up and down the stairs. The wooden floors in the kitchen area were easy to clean as the standard brush can be altered between being able to clean carpets and hard surfaces. In all this is a brilliant machine and looks great in pink as well if pink is your thing! All of this for a fraction of the price that I paid for the Dyson a real bargain.

POWERFUL WEE CLEANER
I purchased Hetty a number of months back and I am very pleased with her so far. She has such power and hoovers well. She comes with replacement bags which last 3 months. I hope to purchase the reusable bag when these have finished. She is easy to put together and empty. She doesn't have any storage but all her tools are kept in the pink Hetty bag supplied. She has a high and low setting, the low setting gets used on my laminate floor and I use the high setting on heavy duty areas. I had a Dyson but she wins hands down. The only thing I find is the floor attachment can be difficult to come off but maybe I am not doing it the right way. She has a long cable which means you don't have to unplug her so often. A great buy at a fraction of the price of bigger brand names. Well worth it!
