Customer Reviews
Brilliant!
We were delighted with these sticklebricks. We bought them for our 8 month old son. They're lovely bright colours, nice big and chunky for him to handle, chew and study. The slightly smaller sticklebricks have been kept aside for when he's a little older. As well as being fun shapes individually, when we build them into some bizarre object he studies it for hours and then has great fun pulling them apart. They'll last as a toy for him for years, as he gets older he'll learn the colours and build things himself. A good old fashioned toy but still great fun!
Quality Item
I got this set for my 18 month old for Christmas and to be honest he loves them. The sticklebricks come in a number of different sizes and colours, and the fancy shapes (which they didn't have when I was a lad) allow you to add handles to any objects you are making, or to add animals etc.
The bag has managed to be quite durable so far - and stickbricks are next to indestructable at best - so I have no doubt that these will last for years.
As to what my son will do with them, well there are any number of options. Build things, colour match, shape sort. Even if he gets bored of them I'll keep playing with them with him...
Sticklebricks are a great way to aid the developmental skills of your child (it helps their manual dexterity no end), and I love them. This is a well balanced set of bricks and there are enough to make a large number of different constructions.
Great toy if the quality was as good as it used to be!
I remember Stickle Bricks from when I was a kid and funnily enough they stuck together without any help. Sometimes they needed a fair old tug to get them apart!.....the new an up to date Stickle Bricks however are not the same. Two bricks put together do not stay together as the plastic is lighter and thinner than it used to be. I returned the item not only because of the poor and disappointing quality but also because when I emptied the bag some of the little stickle bits on the blocks fell out of the bag too! Although too small probably to choke on I still didn't fancy letting my 1 year old eat plastic.
Very very disappointed.
