Good as an occasional bed; probably not for everyday use!
We bought this for our 2 1/2 year old to use at nap time at nanny's house. It looks reasonably well put together and comes with an air pump, and the covers are easy to remove if they need washing. I would say though that the duvet part is a bit cheap looking, and there isn't so much as a hint of natural fabric anywhere. It's also very lightweight so you'd need an extra blanket over the top if you planned to use this in winter.

I wouldn't recommend this for an everyday bed or even as a transition from cot to bed - but fine for occasional use.

Shame it doesn't stay inflated
Our 2 1/2 year old absolutely loves this for staying at Nanna and Granddads and it is also lovely to keep them comfortable when they are poorly but don't want to be in bed on their own. The first time we inflated it it was great. However, since then whenever we inflat it it loses air and so we have to blow it up 4-5 times a day. It is not designed to be an educational toy, so that is an unfair rating, it is not really designed to be fun so that too is unfair. We loved this and it is a really good principle, but we are not sure how it got a puncture so cannot claim it is durable as OURS has not been. If the bed hadn't got a puncture it would have got 5 stars especially with a removable cover that can be washed! The air matress does not blow up particularly thick but it doesn't really need to for young children. The matress isn't terribly thick but in centrally heated houses that's not vital either. I would have liked to know that you still need a pillow for it though as the built in one does not really do enough of a job.

Peppa Pig My First Ready Bed
We bought this for our 3 year old daughter so we could use it for a weeks holiday in Centre Parcs and it did the job admirably. She loves Peppa Pig, which means that persuading her to sleep in it wasn't too much of an issue! It's lightweight and easily transportable and the bag is large enough to fit other stuff in (like a pillow and extra sheet), which is just as well as the bed has no pillow included and the attached sheet is quite thin. In the summer you wouldn't need any other sheets, but in the winter you most definately will.

It's served us well and seems fairly durable so we expect to get more use out of it soon! We would recommend it to anyone else who needs a decent, comfortable and portable bed for their child.
