Dry feet are comfortable feet
Karrimor use waterproof, breathable membranes in its footwear to keep water from entering whilst allowing water vapour (sweat) to escape. Even while sitting still over eight hours, your feet will sweat the equivalent to a one-quarter cup of water. During even gentle exercise, this can be greatly increased. Wet feet blister, and feel cold and uncomfortable. The membranes Karrimor uses, allows water vapour to escape, leaving feet dry and comfortable.

Fit and last shape
The Karrimor last is generally recognised as a higher-volume last; which means the fit feels wider –- more akin to the British and European foot shape. Karrimor sells boots and shoes in full and half sizes to ensure a goods fit. Karrimor recommends wearing the boots around the house to ensure they fit well before wearing them outside.

Outsole
Karrimor use durable outsoles that provide high levels of grip. Karrimor uses Vibram outsoles on all its models, which are widely recognised as the market leader in outdoor footwear outsoles. Vibram outsoles can be replaced when they do finally wear out. Many of the Vibram outsoles used are exclusive designs Karrimor has developed with Vibram -– exclusive to Karrimor designs and last.

Very good indeed
These are techie but not too much so, and the woven design lightens the look and means they are ok to wear with more than just hiking gear.

They cushion the foot against pavement walking just like good trainers but are very light to wear. Most important, all three straps are adjustable with some seriously tough velcro, so you can fit each exactly to the foot.

They are well ventilated and, as promised, keep your feet dry, no blisters. I did a half hour hard pavement walk the first day of wear in warm weather and had a good ride, as good as with trainers, but feet feeling a lot freer. Had no problems with rubbing. Feet felt comfortable.

Good for the feet. Very good value.

good vegan friendly
I bought these last week and am very pleased with the purchase. I wore them all day yesterday out walking for a lot of it and they are very comfortable. I think I might buy another pair!

Comfy but they make your feet SMELL!
Me and my boyfriend bought these sandals and we agree that they are comfy but strangely they made our feet smell. We never had such a problem before, his and my feet do not smell when we wear any other shoes and sandals. I guess it might be the material they used or something like that makes our feet smell horrible whenever we wear these sandals. Its very absurd as these are sandals and shouldnt smell..
