Product Description

This is our most popular beginner remote control plane, and we love it. It's only 40cm in length, but the 'Super Plane' is packed with high-tech electronics and engineering innovation, to make flying it an absolute breeze. The 'Super Plane' is ready to go out of the box, and is very durable. This essential build quality cannot be underestimated, as there is nothing worse than having to bin your new toy after its maiden flight./ The Super Plane uses small twin motors for power and steering. At full power, both motors run at the same speed; when you input a turn, one of the motors slows down. Additional features include shock absorbing landing gear for simple landing, and a charger built into the controller so you can charge it while you're out and about. See the manufacturers website at www.paramountzone.com for spare parts.

A neat little trainer5
This is a great little plane, it's easy to put together and with a few minor adjustments to the trim is a wonderful little flyer.

It's great as trainer (which I'm using it for) for working your way up to bigger aircraft.

It feels and looks weak, and it will break if not set up correctly but as long as you put a little effort into fine tuning it won't let you down.

When it fly's it fly's true and is quite responsive, you can get about 20 minutes flight on a full charged battery, it does however eat AA's like a slug on lettuce.

Fantastic. Present for my hubbie and he loves it.5
One of the best presents i have bought my hubbie as he is such a big kid. He is practising flying remote control planes with this one so then he can buy a more expensive one in the future and not crash it. Brilliant.

It's worth spending £10 more...3
If like me you want to try a remote control plane as a beginner or for a bit of fun then you should really consider spending an extra £10 to get a better model.

This design is not very durable and is slightly underpowered. It is incapable of taking off from the ground and needs to be thrown into the air. It isn't overly durable and after 5 flights had a snapped horizontal stabiliser, broken left engine shell, snapped right wing and a hole in the fuselage by the nose. This has all been repaired quite well with a bit of duck tape (which should actually come with the plane!) and after taking that damage it still flies much the same as it did earlier today. Duck tape is an essential repair tool and can be used to improve the stability and aerodynamics of the plane.

The plane struggled to stay in the air with its undercarriage attached so I removed the wheels altogether. It flies pretty well without them and is actually really fun to play around with. You need to charge it back up every 10 minutes and it takes just under 10 to charge up fully (that can be done with the controller which is extremely handy).

To summarise, this plane is fun and has been a real insight into the world or RC planes but leaves me wishing I had spent £30 - £40 on a plane that can keep itself in the air and doesn't snap when it comes down.
