A useful little item to have!
I'd have to argue with the claim that this item ensures anyone sharing the bed isn't disturbed, at all. It's not quite that good, but does a fair job of reducing the noise of a bedside radio in general, and it's a handy item to have, if sharing the room with another person.

** Be Warned** - the volume of your radio will need to be considerably turned up to hear it through the pillowspeaker (and your pillow!) so standby to turn the volume DOWN swiftly, if you unplug the speaker - or you'll deafen the neighbours!

Mostly good news
Speaker seems very good quality, as one would expect from Roberts. A little concerned about the lead, which, although a sensible length, does seem thin and May not stand up to much rough treatment. All things considered though, a recommendable product.

Pillow Talk Speaker
Bought this speaker as I am hard of hearing (not deaf) but unfortunately I can barely hear the sound from under my pillow, even at highest volume setting. My husband can hear it clearly which rather defeats the object. If you have a hearing problem, I would strongly recommend trying before buying (if possible).
