Good sizes and good value
I've been looking for a decent sized stock pot for quite a while, and this set contains 4 - ranging in size from 8 litres to whopping 19 litres (roughly 14 pints to 33 pints)! This is just what I need for my Christmas preparations.

It is a very basic set as one would expect at this price. I know that I will be using them for years to come.

They seem like the lids may warp quite easy, in fact the lid of the largest pot is slightly bent already from the box which was damaged in one corner. Basically you get what you pay for so don't expect heavy solid pots that last a lifetime. Used occasionally for soups, jams, chutneys etc they are fine, but for every day use they may not last too long.

I wanted to cook liquid and I have a morbid fear of saucepans, so essentially pots are the way forward. I like the shininess of these, and they certainly have no holes (except the ones at the top to let the liquid enter, which I would have thought was standard). The only problem was that when cooking it would take seemingly forever for liquids to bubble and steam, if I directed my gaze at the pot. When I was out of the room, boiling point was reached without any hassle, and the same went if I looked into the distance. So with that proviso, these are well worth buying.
