Short change4
I bought this Cd a year ago and Still enjoy listening to it--but. In my opinion, recorded music of this vintage, which must still have a huge following(and deservedly so) should surely be issued as a compilation by now, of at least 2 discs. Only after buying my copy did I realise that there were several favourite tracks missing. I ended up having to buy other Cds of different origins and quality of reproduction, with many duplications, to complete my list. It is a familiar experience for the buying public, especially new-ish recordings of 'best of'. But surely for material this old, where track length is quite short by modern standards, this practice is not acceptable.Ps. If you are a 'Soundtrack buff' like me, beware of later--studio versions, which lack the atmosphere. Just a personal preference.

Thirties soundtrack4
Just got this disk so haven`t played it over and over. However, the first thing that struck me was how good the sound is. Whoever was responsible for working on those old soundtrack recordings and eliminating noises etc that were not wanted, has done a great job. Considering the price of the CD I consider it well worth every penny. If you are a fan of Fred (not forgetting Ginger) you should for sure have this CD in your collection.
