Customer Reviews
Easy to use.
I've just got one of these kettles, and the overall impression is good. It is lightweight (I tried several in the showroom, and some brands are heavy even when empty!), has a handle with a rubberised section so easy to hold and lift, and sits securely in a wide base. Another reviewer here complains about a loud boil - I have to say I don't think it is noticably loud - it's a kettle, it makes a kettle noise, and that's not something that has ever bothered me. The lid is a bit difficult to remove, though it may loosen up with use - however, the spout is just about big enough to allow me to fill the kettle carefully from the tap through the spout, so I don't think that's a major problem. I prefer the sort of lift-off lid this kettle has to a flip-top which I find from other kettles I have had break quite quickly at the hinge and also allow steam out which can scald your hand when pouring.
A general comment about all modern kettles, though, assuming kettle manufacturers read these feedback reviews - I'd prefer not to have a fill-level guage at the side, as I find this is the weak spot at which all kettles eventually start to leak. The only recent electric kettle I found with a solid, seamless metal interior was the Russell Hobbs Salsa, now discontinued, which was a fantastic kettle - mine survived approx. 8 years heavy use in a student house, where it was used not just for tea but to boil water for cooking, etc. and still works, but the spout now leaks!

Looks good and works well but it is SO noisy I am thinking of changing it!
I love this kettle
This kettle was bought to replace an identical kettle - just the best. The lid is a little bit of a tight fit but otherwise it is a fast boiler and looks good with its satin finish.
