Russell Hobbs jug kettle
I like the styling - its a most attractive addition to the kitchen. The kettle is well designed. I particularly like the way the lid flips up for filling at the tap and not having to struggle with either having to remove a lid or try to keep it open whilst the water is being filled. Another design 'plus' is the fact that the water level is very visual. Good value.

russell hobbs 14439 stylis kettle - v good
Had this kettle for a month now. Had a number of kettles in the past and found that due to limescale build up the lids kept on breaking, limescale build up around the top of the kettle/lids caused the lid to 'catch', breaking the lever opening mechanism. This kettle is great has a solid plastic inner lining so that there is no metal on metal contact between the lid and the rest of the kettle, there is no obvious sign of any limescale build up around the top of the kettle. So hopefully this will sort the problem.
The kettle is well designed/robust but a bit taller than I expected. Lid is on a lever/switch that seems sturdy enough. Also glows with a nice blue light when it's switched on and boiling water :)

Does what it says on the packet!
Good Kettle,easy to fill and pours well(no drips),boils quickly and has a nice overall finish-very shiny.
Down points-button on the top is easy to mistake for the on/off switch so you have to remember to not touch it and you need to follow the advice and boil it then rince AT LEAST 3 times before you use it the first time as there is an unpleasant taste that goes away with use(other kettles suffer from this as well).
Good kettle especially if you find it on offer.
