    Great bottle for squash drinkers5
While a fairly nicely styled sports bottle with an effective cap these features do not make the Thermos Hydro Active Sports Bottle stand out. The winning feature here is the fillable core, which can be frozen to keep a drink cool, however there is another use for it:

Since the inner core is seal-able it can be used to store an extra component of drink, for example undiluted squash, allowing for a refill more exciting than water from a water fountain. Might not sound like much, but I'm grateful for it at the gym.

Does All a Water Bottle Should4
I've had this exact flask for a fortnight and I love it. It's easy to clean as both the bottle neck and drinking funnel are wide, it's a good shape and size for my handbag and for resting in drink holders at the gym, and I've had no leaks. (Admittedly I don't ever really lie a water bottle down on its side in a bag for long periods of time: it's too silly a risk to take with any product in my opinion, especially if it's in with a wallet, purse, paperwork etc). My only slight grumble is that the sturdy, well stuck on lid which I do like is a little hard to open when I'm trying to keep my balance while bobbing up and down on a crosstrainer. But maybe that's more a reflection upon me! Other than that, perfect.

    Whoops! 3
I purchased two of these, seeing the name Thermos I thought they would be a safe bet for my children. The idea of having a removable freezable 'core' is great, however, give these to an eight year old and an eleven year old to use and the 'core' is really easily pushed into the bottle which is realy hard to get out! We now use the bottles without the core as it caused too many problems.
Great 'cool' design but impratical for children.
