Excellent
I brought one of these just under a year ago and last week it stopped working, I'm lost without it and looking for a replacement without going to JML directly. I was fed up with my kitchen smelling of bacon & sausages being fried/gridled as I had no grill on my main cooker, this saved the day completely and I'd rather my main oven had gone wrong than this halogen one!I've also roasted joints, potatoes & parsnips, baked jacket potates and flapjack..all excellent. I highly recommend even my son who was against it in the begining is asking when I'm getting a replacement.

Fantastic Item easy to clean,quick to cook,little heat in the kitchen,we cook 3 chickens a week for the dog its brill.

shame about the design
This is a really good gadget, but with a design flaw. You need sunglasses when it's switched on. When you stand a few feet away the halogen bulb is clearly visible, and it reflects back off the aluminium plate underneath. I really loved the cooker, but couldn't stand the bright light, it was like looking at the sun. What a shame they didn't put some sort of diffuser on the lid, then it would have got 5/5 marks and I would have kept it.
