The Delonghi F18316S Fryer is ideal for any household. The angled rotating basket ensures that you only need to use half the oil that you would use in any traditional deep fyers.
The patented Delonghi "Easy Clean System" makes cleaning this product simple, a small hose at the bottom of the appliance drains and filters the oil at the same time, avoiding any messy lifting and tipping of the fryer. For added safety the F18316S has an external basket control, which enables you to raise and lower it without having to open the lid.
The large viewing window means that you can monitor your food while it cooks. The Fryer has a 1.2kg food capacity, non stick bowl, removable dishwasher safe lid and cooler touch body. The adjustable thermostat and 99 minute timer with alarm ensure that every meal will be fried to the highest standard.

Best Fryer Yet
I bought this fryer after my old Tefal expired. I was initially attracted by the fact that it required less than 50% of the oil that the old one did. The additional design features, and in particular the easy clean concept, clinced it. Having now used it quite a few times I certainly do not regret the purchase.

The rotating basket design certainly gives superior frying results producing really golden crispy chips even with the lid down. It very well, and cleverly, designed and seems robust with the exeption of the drain tube hatch which is very plasticy and feels quite fragile but no doubt will last with a bit of care. The Easy Clean System is superb and emptying it and cleaning the bowl after every use is no chore at all. The drainage system is also very good with the built in container holder, supplied container and filter which is so fine that it catches even the smallest particles.

As far as looks are concerned to me it is rather glitzy but this is a matter of personal taste. The only other critism I have is that the supplied drain tube cleaning "brush" which is not a brush at all is virtually useless and I use a small bottle brush instead.

Delonghi Roto fryer
Thought this was rather expensive for a fryer but was attracted by the promise of less fat required for use. I must say it has exceeded my expectations and cooks lovely chips! It also looks good enough to store on top of worksurface, unlike some of the genre. Definitely recommended.
