Fiddle Time Scales is an excellent technical companion book to the Joggers and Runners and is presented in an attractive and palatable way. Each scale is dealt with very clearly with charts and games to help the memory and understanding of the pupil. As soon as the scale and arpeggio have been thoroughly experienced with questions to answer, boxes to fill in and different rhythms to try, there are also some imaginative pieces to play in that key. ... Even the last page is full of enthusiastic suggestions such as playing 'Twinkle, Twinkle' or 'London's Burning' in every major key in the book or playing scales and arpeggios as rounds.
