good but not silent
If you want a fan with ultra strong blowing power this is the one, it says it has a whisper setting but it is a bit noisy none the less, also it's lowest setting is really powerful, so if you want a gentle breeze I would avoid this.

Warning

To all customers. Do not buy this item. The motor speed is far in excess of acceptable UK norms and has more in common with a jet tubo fan. The level of noise generated by the unit renders it utterly useless. If I still had the packaging I would, without doubt, return it and demand a full refund.
