Great ideas but not for the novice
I love this book and peruse it every time I am looking for inspiration for my next mini-book project.
It's a rounded book, looking at everything you would need to take an idea through to completion. This includes instructions for mitering corners, stitching pages using the 'stab binding' technique and a breakdown of the equipment you need. Each project has a materials list, a `time-saving tip' and instructions to complete the project. This is the only area I have issue with this book; it's great for someone who has basic booking making skills but is not for the absolute beginner as it doesn't hold your hand.
So if you love making mini-books, picking out ideas for your cards or scrapbooking I would recommend this book, BUT if you need step-by-step pictorial instructions it's not for you. You need a little confidence in you basic skills to work with this one.
Lots of inspiration
This book has lots of great ideas for minibooks which aren't too daunting, all seem eminently 'doable' It has been borrowed by a couple of friends, and one bought her own copy immediately.
