Inspiring beyond my expectations
I am a scrapaholic but was never really sure of my style. But reading this book helped me realise that I prefer the simple, clean, graphic design style of scrapbooking and reading it was a truly wonderful experience. I refer to it over and over again. Cannot rate Mrs Zielske enough!

Fabulous
It does what it says - scrapbooking in a clean and simple style. Clear cut ideas, guilt-free instructions with no pressure to scrapbook absolutely everything. A guide on how to scrapbook - whatever, in a very simple style, using nothing more than stock paper and photos & sometimes a few other bits and pieces.

There are some great ideas for using your computer (if you use one although it is not necessary in this book) to set out your page, how to use different typefaces and colour combinations that work. Cathy Zielske writes in a very informal, straightforward way with loads of ideas for you to tell your story and to show off your pictures in style. There are more ideas in this book for the narrower pages (similar to A4) than 12x12 but very well worth buying. Her second book - Clean & Simple: Scrapbooking: The Sequel, addresses this but it is still worth buying both books, whichever size paper you use.

Very inspiring, it has provided loads of ideas for my own pages, and for those of my family, who also scrapbook. However, if you like really fussy, over the top pages, it may not be for you.
