sentimental, musically barren pap
Anyone with more than half a brain cell and even the beginnings of musical appreciation should rise up in disgust and anger at this moronic cloying rubbish. Disgustingly wet, musically irrelevant, and what's more smug and sanctimonious - these 2 trendy vicars make me feel like spitting blood.

Great Song!
Just bought this for my other half, he's always going on about "That JCB song" and I almost got his just the audio - glad I read the reviews 1st. This is just a beautiful song about how a young boy idolises his dad, and I remember being in a big old arctic truck with my brother and uncle driving along thinking the same type of things... brings back amazing memories! Also have seen a live performances on YouTube and was amazed at how little studio work was needed with their voices, reminds me a little of Tracy Chapman, not sure I'm ready to buy an album yet, but this song is unforgetable.

Has a certain charm, this'll be remembered for a long time to come

This might have been the band's only real dent on the charts but what a way to leave a lasting impression! Yes, some could say it succeeded but purely on novelty factor but i don't think so - it actually works extremely well as a pop song and its cute charm is undeniable. I'm pleased the song got to number one as it is little tracks like this that help define a year's music. Plus, the video only adds to the appeal of this track - a must watch.
