Brilliant book on BPO!
Nakkiran and John Franklin, two academics from India, have focused on describing how effectively outsourcing is currently working within India and what its status is, where it's heading.

The chapters are compiled by an extensive number of research papers which focus on Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) in the finance, marketing and accounting sectors. Although research seems to be primarily focused on outsourcing management; many aspects and behaviours of markets to outsourcing, are analysed.

There are many illustrations and a great variety of statistics available to explain all the principles and theories present in the book and to support examples drawn from the Indian industry. There are also useful comparison statistics to other countries, to indicate the prosperous position outsourcing has within India in terms of management effectiveness and corporate financial gains.

I would highly recommend the book to sourcing specialists interested in current and future trends of outsourcing in India.
