A good BOX SET but ...
This BOX SET "The Best of the Military Bands" is a good choice but I suggest that you also check "100 Military Band Favourites" that is a 5 CD BOX SET at a very low price. There are many CD of military music that have always the same marches, played by the same bands with the same orchestration. So, usually, the biggest differences between all these CDs are only the price and the number of tunes. However, it is a good BOX SET but check the other CDs and BOX SETS too.
A good broad cross-section of military music
This boxed set represents a good value collection of milliraty music for those with a passing interest in it. There is a broad cross-section of tunes included from all three services. My only complaint is that it is a little Army heavy, and very light on the Air Force (although what is there is good) If you want a good selection for little expenditure, this ideal
