Great overall View of live sound
A good book for anyone who wants to start learning a little about live sound. It covers all the basics like mixers, microphones and speakers. The section on mixers is especially good as it builds up from a very basic mixer adding features to it. A great book for people who want to know a little about the techniical side of live sound.

Just a compilation of the smaller books of the same author
While it is still a decent reference, it is just a compilation of all the "basic" books of the same author, it adds, maybe 5-10% of content, but if you have any of the "basic" books,this one is useless, or just buy this one and forget about the pocket ones.

Still a good book for the very beginner to learn concepts, but when things start getting interesting, then the book is done and does not go to any depths/
