Amazon.co.uk Review
It's easy to forget that superstars are real people, but when Hannah Montana (Miley Cyrus) shows signs of forgetting her roots as Miley Stewart, her father Robbie Ray (Billy Ray Cyrus) puts his foot down. Miley has always strived to live a relatively normal teenage life, but when late stage entrances, exclusive shopping trips that end in brawling catfights, and ditching friends and family in favour of Hannah appearances become commonplace, Robbie Ray whisks her away from a date at the New York Music Awards for a dose of hometown reality at her grandma's in Crowley Corners, Tennessee. Unfortunately, she's followed by Oswald (Peter Gunn), a relentless reporter from Britain's Bon Chic Magazine. Miley's initial fury at being tricked into staying at Grandma's spurs her to commence operation Save Hannah Montana, but her bad attitude eventually gives way to resignation and then the beginnings of reconnection between Miley and her family. As the days progress, Miley glimpses her growing self-absorption, finds she's attracted to old elementary friend Travis (Lucas Till), realizes that her selfishness has negatively affected her dad's personal relationships, and is drawn into her grandma's fight against the commercialization of Crowley Corners. A boastful impulse leads to Miley being charged with bringing Hannah Montana to Crowley Corners for a benefit concert; when Miley's worlds collide onstage, she reveals her true identity and declares that Hannah Montana is no more. Can Miley's hometown possibly keep Miley's secret, silence the reporter, and convince Miley that she can have the best of both worlds, or is this the end of Hannah Montana? Well-known Hannah Montana songs, including "Best of Both Worlds" and "Let's Get Crazy" are featured in the film as well as the fun new song "Hoedown Throwdown" (complete with line dance instruction), the heartfelt "Butterfly Fly Away," and the inspirational "The Climb." More important than the great music is the film's wholesome message about staying true to oneself and one's family and friends. (Ages 7 and older) --Tami Horiuchi
Synopsis
After the huge success of HANNAH MONTANA and MILEY CYRUS: BEST OF BOTH WORLDS CONCERT, an all-new Hannah Montana adventure cruises to the big screen with this comedy. Hannah's star continues to climb, while Miley is in danger of being lost in the shuffle. The film opens with Hannah's hectic lifestyle wrecking the important relationships in her life; she gets into a catfight over shoes with Tyra Banks, she forgets to say goodbye when her brother leaves for college, and she's late for her best friend's sweet sixteen. To help bring her back to Earth, Miley's dad (Billy Ray Cyrus) takes her to Crowley Corners, Tennessee, where there's plenty of love and laughter in the air. At first Miley hates being stuck in the backwoods town, but can a cute young ranch hand -- and her grandmother's love -- eventually melt her heart? And, when the town needs to raise cash to stop a developer from soiling their perfect little community with a big mall, can the part-time celebrity performer save the day? HANNAH MONTANA THE MOVIE stars favourites from the TV series as well as Rascal Flatts and Taylor Swift.

Feel Good Factor 10
I love how they make "children's" movies these days so that the adult that has to take them to see it can also enjoy it. I really like Miley Cirrus and she reminds me so much of my daughter that I giggled all the way through. Some good music too and I'm not really into pop music but I enjoyed it. It's one of those films I don't mind having to watch again and again as we mums often have to do!!! Your children will love it and you will embarrassingly have to admit you enjoyed it too.
Great film!!
Never saw the series but fancied watching the film when when I saw trailers for it, even though thought it might have been quite cheesy and teeny.
Went to see the film and absalutely loved it!!!
Will definately be buying it straight away when it come out... this monday :)
If you are a Grandpa
This is the ideal DVD to watch with your grand daughter if she is aged 9. It is clear that Disney have put a lot of thought into what every 9 year olds secret dream is - to be just like Hannah Montana. Watch and enjoy but be careful Hannah Montanaese is catching - you'll end up talking like her - Toodles
