Synopsis
The hero of Bach's bestselling book Illusions, (published by Doubleday), carried a small volume entitled The Messiah's Handbook. For decades, Bach fans have had one wish: to read the handbook for themselves. Here it is. This edition contains never-before-seen wisdom along with passages from many of Bach's multi-million copy selling works including Jonathan Livingston Seagull. Here at last is the long awaited companion to one of the biggest selling books of all time. It contains over 200 reminders to give readers what they need to know and is just the right size to fit in any pocket or handbag. With a first printing of 50,000 copies and a unique flexible suede cover design, this book is destined to become another classic from Richard Bach.

Customer Reviews

Live the Adventure5
A great opportunity to take part in one of the most inspiring stories ever told. Just as described in 'Illusions', the Messiah's Handbook has been rediscovered and published so that all can share its wisdom. Can be read before or after reading 'Illusions', it doesn't really matter, although 'Illusions' is as relevant today as it ever was.
My only observation was that the quote about Perspective was missing - I wonder why?

Inspiring booklet, deceitful edition description4
If you found "Illusions" every bit as mind-boggling yet life-affirming and life-changing as I did, you could probably use this little book in your hand/man-bag as an every-day port of call for all those times when things get rough and you could benefit from gentle wisdom and a little bit of perspective.

My only gripe is the edition: I don't like hardbacks, but bought this as it was advertised as "flexible suede" so I thought I could throw the dust-cover away and have a nice, smooth, soft suede booklet. Had I known that the cover is actually rigid and fake-feeling, I would have waited 'till it came out in paperback: as the book really is quite small (reading it cover-to-cover shouldn't take you more than half an hour, though that is not what it's for), I thought I was paying for beauty and style of edition. I was wrong.

In conclusion: buy this title, but wait.

A must have book5
This is the most handy little life guide, I have ever seen. Everybody should have it in his/her pocket.
