Average customer review:Product Description
First published in 1981, this book has long been recognised as the 'bible of Scalextric', providing a complete catalogue of the cars and equipment produced. Now, for this seventh edition, the text and photos have been revised and expanded, including over 1,250 images of past and current models. Printed in full colour throughout, this will appeal to a bigger audience than ever before, owing to Scalextric's substantial growth in recent years. It will also offer the level of detail and comprehensive data demanded by the aficionado.

Best Update Yet
I have been buying this guide for some time now and I have to say that this complete revision has made a huge leap from previous versions. The huge number of colour photographs make it unmissable for anyone interested in Scalextric and slot cars of any type.
A great guide to Scalextric history
This is a wery good referance book giving a good history and current listing of the products that have been made over the years, wonderful pictures of some great cars from the old tin ones to the new plastic ones.
This is one of the best books I have had the pleasure of owning on these great modles. I am happy to recomend this book as a wonderful history of slot car racing as done by Scalextric and their world wide sales under licence.
Certainly is an Ultimate guide
I wanted a guide to Scalextric having been out of touch since the early eighties and this certainly delivers! It cover everything in great detail and was a fascinating read. Unfortunatley the 2008 products are not 100% accurate but I guess things were still uncertain when this went to print. Noneless its throughly recommended if you want all the detail.
