Customer Reviews

Oh dear...1
I really wanted to like this workout. I love Abba and thought this would be my dream workout DVD. It's not good... The music is awfully put together and the routines don't always fit with the songs. The steps actually seem erratic and out of time in places. There are also periods of no music between tracks inappropriately positioned in the middle of sections of routines, bridged only by the instructor talking through moves. The music is actually taken from a live recording of a Bjorn Again show and it really doesn't work. The concept had such potential. This DVD could and should have been so much better, the actual choreography is quite fun but the way the DVD has been constructed lets it down terribly. Disappointing.

Frustrating1
I usually go running to keep fit, but found the cold snap a bit too much after comming back off hols and what with Christmas and everything, I thought I'd get this to keep me going. I love Abba, so I was incredibly dissappointed with this DVD. It was truly terrible & to be honest I ejected it after the warm up as it was way too complicated & the music sounded rubbish - I wanted to cry!! & decided not to waste any more time. Luckily I got the new Davina workout aswell, so I put this on & was saved - horray!!!

Not bad but not great3
I have many fitness videos and an avid fan of the Ministry of Sound fitness collection. So I had high hopes since I have always loved the ABBA music. It was ok but not great and the reasons for me are:-
Hard to pick up dance routine (beginner level though might be ok for advanced dancers) and forever adding new steps before mastered the original ones (an idea might be to break it down to a slower pace for first song then full pace for the repeat, some songs are repeated twice)
Poor instruction I am well aware of correct postionings for certain moves but felt whilst the instructor was enthusiastic more instruction would be better.
Too short cool down section. My personal fave is the cool down on Ministry of Sound Pump it Up, I like them longer!
I will do it again as I like the music but I am looking forward to trying out Mel B which I also bought.
