Carry out massive environmental destruction when you fight both above and below ground in the spectacular gothic cityscape. Mission based gameplay, with each mission having its own style, difficulty and objective: seek and destroy, protect, against the clock and total annihilation.

Customer Reviews

The film and the game, either love or hate3
Underworld the film seems to be either loved or hated,
personally I loved the film, but then I am a fan of the vampire legend and it's more modern turn around.
The game however, I almost feel guilty for awarding it with only 3 stars as I really enjoyed it but it has it's flaws.
First off it has the feel of a budget game, memories of the recent evil dead game but that game proved budget games can be very fun indeed.
Levels are very samey and the control system is a little off putting but once finally used to it nothing new to learn
A nice touch, however is the multi player Co-oP, which a lot of games recently are missing when it would be easy to have them!
The life span of the game unfortunately isn't very long, I've had it 2 days and it has been completed but in spite of all it's flaws it is amusing and worth playing if you are a fan of the movie.
If you aren't a fan of the movie and are looking for a vampiric/werewolf game this may not prove to please

it may take a short while to get into, but when you do you'll love it, then it will end, a little too early...

Do Not Waste Your Money1
I brought the game at a budget price off the strength of the movie which while not fantastic it was still cool!
As for the game with such a good storyline and characters to use it could've been better
The controls were rubbish you need to use both anaglogue sticks one to move and one to look left and right, the fighting was boring and limited to the same repetitive moves, the guns were rubbish and there was hardly any differenc between them, the special abilities as either a vampire or werewolf were rubbish
Destructive scenery?!?!?! if you call a few wooden crates every so often destructive scenery then so be it
I took the game straight back and got my money back
This game is a waste of a good movie licence!!! I wont be buying another game by this developer... ever!

Underworld - A Goth's Paradise5
Many people have told me that i was playing a game for goths...I knew this when i bought it and the first 30 mins dragged slightley, but after that, I was transfixed all the way through. The story was entrancing and the visuals breathtaking. The style of gameplay is one of my favourites and the characters are deep and concealing. I am a big fan of all things "we are not alone on this planet", things like mutants and sorcerers, im a sucker for that kind of thing, and if YOU are, you HAVE to be playing this game!!!

A brief summary of the synopsis: We think were alone on our little planet, but other wierdoes exist. Thinking they will be killed, they hide away in human legends and myths, and are sworn enemies of each other. However, a new race begins, a cross between the two kind of thing! Oh no! One of the warrior vampires discovers the new threat!!!

Aparently, a movie is going to exist and is released on 16th Feb with Michael Sheen...Looks amazing, but reviews aren't so good....Arrgh!
