Synopsis
The incredible story of Tour de France Champion Lance Armstrong. Armstrong's career was just beginning to blossom when he was diagnosed with testicular cancer in 1996, forcing him to withdraw from the Tour de France, the world's most prestigious bicycling event. Remarkably, he recovered to re-enter the race, and won the Tour de France a record seven times in a row, from 1999-2005.

Lance Armstrong - 7 In a Row
An excellent watch, not only for cycling enthusiasts but for those who enjoy a good documentary. This dvd goes through the career and personal life of Lance Armstrong in 7 chapters, and his remarkable 7 Tour de France wins from 1999 - 2005. This is a truly uplifting story about an amazing man and will have you dusting the cobwebs of your bike as soon as it is finished.
Lance Armstrong 7 in a Row
What a great story.
A man that had it all and was showing signs of excellance and then all things come to a holt. Imagine haveing all you ever wanted and then told you had a 3% chance of living. Lance armstrong has gone to the end and come back again.
He gets better and better with age and comes back from the brink to write one of the greatest sports storie ever told.
To win one of the hardest sporting events on the planet is amazing after what he went through.
Truly amazing story, a Must see.
Happy Watching
Great DVD
Whilst this DVD obviously focuses on Lance Armstrong it does give plenty of information on the other main players during the Armstrong years. There is lots of race footage, and with commentary by the excellent Phil Liggit it is quite gripping to watch. The only gripe I have is that most of the race stats
are given in Kilometres, which means constant translating into something meaningful. Highly recommended for fans of Lance and of The Tour.
