About the Author

I have to give this book 5 stars since it's well priced, well produced and a really useful guide to rely on when I'm walking at the weekends. There are around 40 mostly circular routes provided ranging from walks in the Pentlands near Edinburgh through to the Borders, Galloway and the coasts of southern Scotland. The trails are written-up in fine, no-nonsense detail (you can't get lost) and the book itself is nicely designed with some lovely images - the A6 format is also very handy (hence the 'Pocket' part I presume!).
