Basic but useful.
No adjustment, it's gravity that moves the belt, so as another reviewer said, you can put blocks or books under the end to change the tilt and get the speed you want. (Basic setup is running. Raise the low end if you just want to walk.) I find I need to keep at least one hand on the handgrips to maintain an even speed. But I don't have space for a motorised treadmill, and they are too heavy for me to move around, so this one suits my needs. It feels strong and stable in use, and parks against a wall at other times. The belt surface is big enough to walk/run on. Makes a gentle whirring noise, not too intrusive - I watch TV while I'm walking. I'm getting some indoor exercise when it's wet or dark and I don't want to go out, so it's doing its job.

Incline problem
If you do buy this machine prepare to have enough telephone directories to stash at the lower part of the incline. Frankly the design could be better.
