Bokken - Practice Katana
This is quite frankly an amazing example of a practice katana. It is precisely the right length (I had fears it would be too short), and the feel of quality is most definitely there. This thing is SOLID. No rattling HandGuards or anything. It even comes with a neat magnet built into the sword ans sheath... so the sheath stays attached. I even held it upside-down, (Handle downwards) while in the sheath, and the Bokken did not fall out! My only little annoyance, is the lack of personalization there is. preferably i'd have liked a black "blade" with a black or red handle. The options are very restrained. But if You like the colours in the picture, you can't go wrong! Just make sure you select the right one!

Delivery was fast, though I WAS required to sign for it. So If being there at the time of delivery is difficult for you, this product might not be your best option.

For such a low price, this is an AMAZING bargain.

Bokken Review
This is everything I was hoping for in a bokken, I bought the black, gold-wrapped version. Nice quality scabbard, and the sword itself seems pretty solid. The magnet that holds the sword to the scabbard isn't as powerful as perhaps suggested in the other review, as the sword slides out when turned upside down, but obviously some magnets will be stronger than others. It doesn't really make a difference, as it still holds the scabbard to the sword when just the handle is held. A not-particularly large shake will make it slide off though.
The blade seems offset to the handle; it comes out at an angle. I only realised this when it was pointed out to me, so it doesn't make much difference. When training with it it is imperceptible.
The delivery was shockingly fast, it came the next morning from when I ordered it. I really would recommend it, and I am glad I did not buy any other.
**EDIT**
I emailed Bytomic about the offset blade, as it was starting to bother me. After sending some pictures, they sent a replacement straight away; the new one really is very sturdy indeed, and the magnet keeps it in even upside down. Definitely a recommended product.
