Product Description

Ideal for home exercise programs strengthening specific muscle groups. The set of 3 allows you to choose and work at different levels. Good for upper & lower body and trunk training. Here are examples of customer feedback on this product: Excellent, prompt service. Am getting a great deal of benefit from the product too! Fantastic turned up within a few days, just what I wanted. Products as described. No problems at all. Great bits of kit both me and the wife use them at the local fitness lessons. I have ordered the stronger black one for me as the three coloured ones are a bit tame, but still good. Entirely satisfactory. Prompt service. Great quality product. Will recommend. Excellent price and just what I needed.

Customer Reviews

Not for serious exercise2
I was very disappointed with these bands. They really aren't suitable for any serious exercise use. There is not much resistance in any of them. So little in fact that I couldn't tell which one was supposed the strongest. They could be useful for recovery from an injury but otherwise they just wouldn't be effective. I think the extra money you would spend on official 'dynabands' is worth it for the quality of the product.

Less resistance, more helpless acquiescence3
I bought these from Hoop Dance Co. and was rather disappointed. They are really sloppy. None of them is as resistant as the one that came free with Yogalates energizer, which, by the way I found far too strong. I think they are probably intended for people recovering from injury and the white writing on one side 'physiosupplies' - which is not shown in the picture - would tend to reinforce that idea. You could use two together, but I still think they are not made of a stable enough form of rubber. The resistance is light at first but then rebounds drunkenly, causing overbalancing, rather than the firm and steady increase of difficulty I was expecting. As a taiji master said "The gentle always overcome the mighty." Well this gentle person would at least like to get toned trying.

Fine for toning etc.5
This set of resistance bands is fine for toning, and presumably a set of bands with varying resistance could be a particular advantage for the elderly, or those starting rehabilitation. Although the resistance of even the strongest (blue) band is perhaps inadequate for a fit adult, I found that using 2 or even 3 bands together solved this issue.

I was happy to find these since we use exercise bands in our local gym's Pilates class, where we were taught simple specific exercises with many dozens of repetitions - easy at first but after 50 quick reps you really start to feel it! Of course they are no substitute for a proper multigym, but fine for what they are - simple, lightweight, versatile, exercise aids. Of course, you still have to use them, and to have an idea of the appropriate way to use them, to get the benefit.
