A class above the rest
I now own a quite a few books on Taekwondo. This is by far the best. The book is beautilfully presented with fantastic photography. All the techniques and Poomsae covered are clearly explained and illustrated with directional arrows explaining the motion of the body (or hips) and impact points showing which part of the foot or hand should be used. Simple really. Why has nobody else done it? The best recomendation I can give is that it is the only book on Taekwondo that I consistently refer too.
confusing
Well i am 2 away from my black belt and i have also choosen TaeKwonDo as my specialist subject in A level PE. Becuase of this i have to make sure that i know the art inside out and the korean commands are different to the ones and i have been taught and also that some of the techniques are different. This book is definately only for beginners, advanced students shouldn't use this book especially if they are doing ITF style instead of WTF, becuase the everytihng about the art is different in this book. Where as other WTF books use the same words and techniques as ITF.
Simply Confusing
An excellent introduction
I found this book to be an excellent resource for beginners. It's clear, concise with first class photography. A must have for the WTF beginner I would have thought!
