Fantastic Book
I purchase the 'Nightscenes' book every year and would not be without it. It's full of useful information, charts and images of what to find each month of the year. It also includes all the exciting events of the year, so you'll never miss a meteor shower, eclipse or occultation again. This book is suitable for both the newcomer to astronomy, explaining things in understandable terms, and to the experienced amateurs out there as a reminder of monthly events. I would have no hesitation in recommending this book to anyone with an interest in the night sky. The authors website also contains pictures he takes of these events [..]

Night Scenes Review
Very poorly written and far too "busy", the diagrams are not clear and the print, especially in the diagrams, is too small.

Nearly threw it out!
This 'book' came packaged with a real book and I thought at first it was just a promotional free magazine and nearly put it in the bin until I looked at the title on front. This should not be classed as a book as it has no spine- just 2 staples(ie. like a free TV guide along with a newspaper).
Disappointed considering price. However I have not read it yet so can't comment on contents. I would not want to take it out with me as it would probably tear very easily (or rot if it gets slightly wet).
