Good variation of material
Such a useful book if you are studying Ancient women. Being a sourcebook you the reader are allowed to interpret the material without having someone tell you what to think. The sources are actually very interesting to read and vary greatly. There are pictures painted of virtuous women such as Pliny's wife to the not so perfect Naeara who was a prostitute. I used it alongside my studies, but if you are keen bean then you migh enjoy reading the sources one their own, but it certainly helps to a little context to understand the true meaning.
