Progain is an advance weight gainer that provides your body with the "right" calories it needs to gain weight and muscle bulk. Progain avoids using cheap fillers, inferior proteins and simple sugars that can cause stomach upsets, wind and side effects, which are common with cheap, low quality weight gainers. Progain is the first weight gainer to include low glycaemic Inulin, an oligofructose based carbohydrate which is digested so slowly, it hardly affects blood sugar levels. This dramatically reduces the insulin response, which causes excess sugar calories to be removed from the blood and stored as bodyfat, a common problem with high sugar formulas. Nutriose is also included, another special low glycaemic fibre. The addition of these unique ingredients, along with MCTs dramatically helps you take in extra calories, that are far more likely to used to build lean muscle, rather than layers of fat, (that fructose and sugar laden weight gainers often create).

Progain includes exclusive fats known as Medium Chain Triglycerides (MCTs), which, although providing the full 9 calories per gram, are treated by the body to act like carbohydrates, making them ideal for advanced weight gainers. Recommended Use:

Start taking 2 scoops a day (mixed with 500ml of water) for a week, if you don't notice an increase of around 1-3lbs a week, add another scoop to your daily servings. Keep adding scoops each week until you are gaining 1-2lbs weekly. If you want to put on muscle you should be using Progain in conjunction with an effective training regime and high protein diet. For optimum energy levels and recovery, try taking half a scoop of Progain around 45 mins before training and 1 scoop immediately after.

Great and cheap
This is a great supplement if your bulking up and need those extra calories and protein.
It tastes great too.

But you have to remember supplements are not miracle muscle builders, they only add what you would get from a meal and then some, if your not working out properly and aren't eating enough in the first place then their not going to be any help whatsoever.

You need anywhere from 6-7 meals a day if you wanna get bigger, 3-4 meals with food and the rest supplemented. you gotta count those calories, carbs, protein, fat, if you wanna make gains..

Progain has 16 servings which if taken once a day is 2 weeks and 2 days, I take it once a day on normal days and twice on workout days, once late mornings and once after my workout .

Ive had a few of these from the maximuscle website before and they charge £33.99 which is a complete rip off, amazon have given it a great price..

Very good but seal was broken
This is an amazing product and even though it arrived 19 hours more than expected and the seal was broken, however the seal may have been taken off due to the lid screwing it off, anyway other than that it was a reasonable price and was surprisingly tasty it didnt taste of whey or similar to the other brands like Body Fortress so yeah i would recomend it i got it today so i ahve only tried it once but i can feel it working :)

This product is actually quite tasty. It says you shouldn't take it with milk, and believe me, you really shouldn't! Coupled with an effective training regime, results are visible rather quickly. Will be topping myself up with the same item when I'm finished with my current batch!
