A female perspective - Cookies & Cream
I started strength training recently for the first time and discovered I just wasn't getting enough protein from my diet. I decided to give my protein intake a boost and bought this simply because Maximuscle had a female-friendly website that gave me lots of info.

One portion of this (one scoop mixed in with 200ml of water) provides 120 calories, 24g of protein, 2g of carbs and 2g of fat. Taste is important for me and the Cookies and Cream flavour I just can't flaw. It's sweet but not sickly, creamy in taste but not heavy. You can mix with milk but I've not tried it like that as it tastes fine just with water. Apparently you can even mix the powder in with things like yogurt and cereal which I'm going to try aswell.

I started training about 4 months back and although I've been getting stronger, I have been a bit disappointed with the visual results. Having taken the shake for the last two weeks, I have already started seeing some definition - it's not that this is some kind of miracle potion but my diet had VERY limited amounts of protein in it before and my muscles just weren't getting the kind of nutrition they needed to recover! I make sure I always have one of these shakes after training so that I can optimize my workout now!

I also highly recommend getting a shaker if you don't already have one - the Maximuscle Shaker 700ml is brilliant, leak-free and makes the whole measuring & mixing thing a whole lot easier.

An excellent helper in your quest for the body/fitness level you are aiming for
Whether you want to add bulky or lean muscle, and/or lost body fat, the two main things you will need to do are exercise and eat right. Promax isn't a solution in and of itself, but is very useful in getting extra protein into your diet (protein is vital for growing muscle, and repairing it when you are going up a fitness/strength level). There is an argument that as solid protein increases your metabolism by up to 30% after you eat it, if you are aiming to lose weight then you want to avoid protein powders that are easily absorbed. However, I've found that using protein powders in addition to solid protein (meat/eggs etc) is really effective, and helping me to achieve my goals more comfortably than without promax. It isn't for everyone, but I think it is definitely worth trying if you are aiming to get fitter/build muscle/lose body fat.

This is a great supplement to add extra protein to your diet, if your bulking up, loosing weight, or keeping lean..

Can be taken with food to add extra protein or on it's on.

It has to be used with a healthy diet, you can't rely on it as a meal replacement.

It has 30 servings which will last for a month if taken once a day but can be taken twice a day. The mornings the best time to take it with some cereal or toast, that's when your body needs food the most after being a sleep all that time with no nutrients.

I would also Suggest buying a Maximuscle Shaker 700ml it mixes it up nicely.
