Customer Reviews

GREAT PRODUCT !!!5
Works perfectly, highly recommended when there is no room for more hard drives or
when you want to have your backup of your precious data safely kept unplugged.
I have 2 drives being swapped at will at any time.

Fantastic!

fan starting to die after a week1
Fan has started to make a racket after only a week, poor quality of the fan lets down an otherwise handy product

Works as advertised... slight noise at startup4
Works as you might expect: no longer do you need to screw the HDD into a tray, you just slot it in like a real removable drive. Operation is smooth and eject works fine.

I do get some noise at startup, but have not identified if this is the fan or the HDD (the fan is disabled if a HDD is not installed). Once in operation it's fairly quiet, but not totally silent. If overheating is not an issue you can opt for the fanless version.
