Shockingly sparse travel guide1
This 128 page booklet (approx A6 size) only has approx 25 pages of text on Gibraltar and 1 map of the main area at a scale of 500 yards to 1cm. The majority of the book is about nearby resorts not Gibraltar.

Several of the main sites (e.g. 100 ton gun, world war two tunnels, etc.) are not mentioned and there is no map of the upper rock pathways. Hotel and restaurant recommendations are minimal.

You would be far better simply getting the free Gibraltar guide from the tourist centre or the airport. I simply cannot recommend this book.

Should be titled costa del sol resorts with a bit of Gibraltar included1
I don't understand this book I got it in hope that it would give me as much information as possible on Gibraltar. Maybe I should have borrowed it first from a library.

Barring a bit at the front and back, most of the book is made up of the local resorts near to Gibraltar. I am talking about the places in Spain local tourist hot spots on the costs del sol, as in resorts, including the likes of Estepona, Marbella, and these are just a small sample hardly a Gibraltar book. If you want a guide book on Gibraltar buy The Best of Gibraltar a vastly better book than this.

The Best of Gibraltar (Globetrotter "The Best Of")

So in summary if you are more interested in the resorts around Gibraltar that I mean ones in Spain then go for this book but surely a book on the Costa del Sol would be a better choice?
