Not enough information on too small an area
This map only covers the mountains, misses out the ends and does not really contain enough information to navigate by. Its scale is too large to be useful to drive by as well. Either buy a guide book (Walks in Majorca - June Parker recommended) or pick up an IGN Hiking map in Palma.

Too brief by half!
The guidebook itself comes in several languages. The English section is a slightly dodgy translation of the original German so a few sentences do come across a little peculiarly. We only attempted one walk in the area around Valdemossa. The description was a little sparse and failed to mention the fact that after about 1 1/2 miles the track you follow becomes a never ending series of steep hairpin bends. Distances between key points are rarley mentioned making it difficult to estimate exactly how far you are down the route. Some of the other walks indicated that they were pretty tough but there was no indication at the start of the description of the one we completed that it was not for the faint-hearted! All in all, not one I would really recommend.
