Particularly when revisisng for the dreaded anatomy exam (part 2)!
	Essential Clinical Anatomy: AND Dynamic Human Anatomy by Keith L. Moore Buy used from: £14.99 You will need this to complete your dissection manuals! Tip - Remember that you only need to show satisfactory completion so don't kill yourself over them!
	Kumar and Clark Clinical Medicine by Parveen Kumar Buy used from: £32.00 Weirdly this one is not actually on the year 1 booklist, even though it is completely invaluable from day one! Older medics agree too - you will use/need this throughout the course!
	Netter's Anatomy Flash Cards (Netter Basic Science) by John T. Hansen PhD Buy used from: £15.98 Perfect for last minute revision of anatomy before the dreaded exam!
	Biochemistry, 5th Ed. by Lubert Stryer Buy used from: £35.00 Really boring book - but better than most biochemistry texts! I used this instead of the others recommended on the book list - helped in foundation studies!
	Surface Anatomy: The Anatomical Basis of Clinical Examination by John S. P. Lumley MS FRCS DMCC FMAA(Hon) FGA Buy used from: £16.00 This book is not actually on the booklist, but I found it really useful in the clinical integration aspect of the course. Its use will probably grow in later years though!
	Aids to the Examination of the Peripheral Nervous System (Neurology) by Brain Buy new: £14.00 / Used from: £12.40 Lecturers go on and on about this book! Might as well get in there first and buy it! To be fair it did turn out to be pretty useful - especially since some of the pictures are actually used inthe exam
	Self-assessment Colour Review of Clinical Anatomy by Edward J. Evans Buy new: £11.95 / Used from: £1.98 Used this book quite a bit when revising for human structure - gets you used to the style of question
	Imaging Atlas of Human Anatomy by Jamie Weir MB BS FRCP(Ed) FRCR Buy new: £33.23 / Used from: £31.00 Really quite useful although I wouldn't bother buying it - there are loads in the library!
	Human Histology: with STUDENT CONSULT Access by Alan Stevens MBBS FRCPath Necessary evil for the most boring topic ever! Although this is probably the best histology book around - ties in really well with Prof. Benjamin's lectures!
	Molecular Biology of the Cell [Book and CD-ROM] by Bruce Alberts Buy used from: £30.00 Argh! Hate this book - everyone does! I didnt bother buying it thankfully - used Stryer instead, although there are always loads in the library!
	Sociology as Applied to Medicine by Graham Scambler BSc PhD Buy used from: £8.50 Again a necessary evil for another boring topic! Despite being boring I found this invaluable when writing my sociology essay!
	Vander's Human Physiology - The Mechanisms of body Function by Eric P. Widmaier Buy used from: £30.00 You will need this book! Really good at explaining this otherwise confusing topic! Perhaps use alongside Pocock and Richards though as each has its own strengths and weaknesses!
	Cell and Molecular Biology (One Stop Doc) by Desikan Rangarajan Buy used from: £5.75 Really good serise of books for revision time, when there just aren't enough hours in the day to learn everything....
	The Anatomy Coloring Book by Wynn Kapit Buy new: £21.56 / Used from: £8.99 Fun way of learning this massive topic!
	Lecture Notes on Anatomy by David Moffat Buy used from: £4.78 Really good book for getting to grips with this massive topic! Not big and scary like the other ones either!
