Not worth the stress and hassle!1
As the person responsible for buying phones for my company, I get to select and play with many different models. Recently I bought two pink Nokia 6111's for the directors wives and have had hell for it ever since, even though these handsets were specifically requested!!!

Although it may look cute and robust in the photographs, in real life the 6111 feels cheap, flimsy and very poorly constructed. Like all Nokias, it is very easy to use but this is badly let down by major flaws. Button response is excruciatingly slow and the battery life is very dire at just over a day, coming in an age where we should be expecting almost a week from new models. Both handsets have had to be sent away for repair due to speaker failure, one of them twice for the same thing. Finally, the button fascia broke into two parts on one. Where I started with two examples, I have now gone through four different handsets due to repairs, exchanges etc.

As a result, one of the wives has now actually given up, bought herself a PAYG Samsung and swapped her sim card over. The other will likely follow suit soon.

Now while Motorola and Samsung just seem to be endlessly releasing new updates on tired old designs, at least Nokia are trying to come up with innovative new products such as the awesome N70, the striking N90 and others. Some hit, many miss. However, the 6111 cannot be recommended on any level. Apparently, this was Nokia's first entry into the slide phone market and it painfully shows. However, I understand from my supplier that their new sliders are much improved over this effort, but still aren't as reliable as the more established brands currently out there...

    Cute but Basic.4
In all honesty, the primary attraction and selling point for this model is the aesthetic appeal, which undoubtedly is aplenty. Within a market saturated with cheap, tacky fuschia/shocking pink coloured monstrosities arises this elegant beauty.

Looks aside, this mobile has almost all the features expected of a nokia however, the battery life is pretty dire and unfortunately the charger is no longer the standard one fits all nokia either. The mp3 storage capacity isn't much (about 3 full-length songs) and the camera is very standard.

I have had the phone for over 6 months now, and have had very little to complain about. There has been the odd occassion where it restarts itself but overall it serves the purpose for which it was bought - to look pretty - and that it does marvelously well. If you're looking for functionality, I advise to go elsewhere but for

    Cheap and nasty1
I wanted this phone so badly, i begged and begged my parents to get it for me for my 15th birthday. When they did i was over the moon, till the started playing up only 2 days after i'd got it. If i pressed a certain button while on the menu, it'd switch itself off! And it hated sending texts, would crash almost everytime if it contained more than "Hi."

I managed to keep it in one piece till one day i opened my bag to find a tiiiiiny crack in the top which left me with a phone with a screen that wouldn't work. I could still phone people, thankfully as that day i needed to call for help. But i was not impressed.

My friend soon got the same phone, two months on it's fallen apart and doesn't even turn on.

    Not impressed AT ALL.

    STAY AWAY FROM THIS PHONE!
