Customer Reviews
French dictionary
Fairly good dictionary, with some grammar points in the back.
Sufficient for anyone studying up to GCSE level, not however sufficient for A - level students.
Good Grammar
An exellent and comprehensive dictionary with an extremely useful grammar section. It would probably have been more user-friendly if examples of grammatical points had followed the information rather than been placed on the opposite page. Smaller print and blue paper also mean that this section can be a little hard on the eyes.
Great for intermediate french
A generally excellent mid-range dictionary, the grammar section at the back being particularly useful. Addition of colour (blue) for the latest edition makes the dictionary easier to read. Too bulky to carry around on a day trip, but small enough to put in a suitcase.
The English-French section has the pronunciation of the English rather than the French: if you want the French pronunciation then you have to look the translated word up again in the French-English section which is unnecessarily tedious.
