Customer Reviews
Best French Grammar book I have used.
Unlike many language text books this gives easy to understand explanations and excercises to complete. I would definately recommend this book.
A useful addition for practicing French grammar.
Inital thoughts on this book were that it seemed rather stark and clinical in it's delivery on the concepts of French grammar. There are no pretty pictures or interesting facts to entertain. However, I found it to be invaluable when it came to practicing the various concepts of the French language. There are just hundreds of practice exercises which is exactly what you need when learning a new language.
If you have already started a French course using either a book/CD or have enrolled on an evening course then this offers a vast array of additional practice exercises to re-enforce what you have learnt. I wouldn't recommend this book on it's own to learn French as you would soon lose interest but if used in conjunction with a French course it is highly recommended.

Recommended to me by a colleague in my French class.
Seems to cover pretty much everything; clear; lots of exercises.
