Pretty good
It reads all cards incl SDHC and is bootable!
The only small niggle is that the transfer speeds aren't as good as with some other readers I've used.

Compact and works a treat
This item will slot kindly into the spare floppy disk bay.

It plugs into the motherboard in the 9 + 1 blank pin slot, mine is called usb56 which is situated next to the floppy disk cable motherboard connector on my ASUS M2R32-MVP motherboard.

The compact flash slot is dead centre which was great as I use a 4gb Compact Flash for Vista readyboost.

This item was easy to install, is for XP and newer operating systems and Vista searches it's database for drivers, reconfigures your system and you reboot and then it works brilliant.

Great buy, infact I am going to buy a couple more for new systems I am going to build this Xmas.

Poor description of item
Bought this to replace an external CF reader occupying one of my USB 2.0 sockets but i found out my motherboard on my high end desktop does not have a 9 pin socket to connect this item to. So it would appear i cannot use this item unless someone knows better?
Amazon could improve the connectivity description for this item as it does not state at all what is required.
Also the one delivered came with a moulded in 9 pin plug not the loose 7 pin lead indicated on the box. All in all a disappointment.
