    Very nice little case5
Bought the S1000fd & this case recently as, according to the Fuji website, the case was made for the camera. Amazon has no picture of the case so I wasn't sure what to expect, but it fits very snugly, which I like as you can then put the camera & case into a backpack or another bag.
I currently have 4 batteries & a memory card in the case as well. The case doesn't come with it's own strap because the camera does and once this is fitted to the camera it very neatly slides to the back and the case and the cover fits over the front & sides. Not disappointed at all. Very pleased I bought both.

Good protection but awkward to use.4
At first glance this is a well padded case that gives good camera protection. It gives a very snug fit to the camera so that you have to be careful when easing it out in case you accidently press the off/on switch. It might get looser with use. There is no belt clip which makes things a bit awkward.I found that if you thread the camera strap through the loop on the side of the case then with it around your neck you can safely remove the camera from its case & leave the case dangling on the strap. I hope this makes sense.

Camera Case for Finepix S1000fd? Not very good. 1
It fits the camera very snugly, there is no room for batteries and no belt hooks. The neck strap exits at the back of the cover flap. However no allowance has been made for the fact that the strap attachment on the camera is slightly forward on the right so the cover flap is forced up & open when the strap is used. Not very well made really, recycled from another product cover perhaps? - something of a disappointment.
